Pre and Post Natal Exercise
I exercised safely throughout both of my pregnancies but found there was often conflicting advice available as to what and how much exercise was safe.
Pre natal training
Exercise before and during pregnancy will ensure you stay fit and healthy throughout your pregnancy. One to one personal training with me will aim to minimise the effects of pregnancy on your body and posture and will strengthen your stomach and pelvic floor muscles.
Post natal training
I remember how hard it was to get back into shape after pregnancy – balancing sleep deprivation, breastfeeding and limited childcare!
That’s why for all mums, I offer baby/buggy friendly work outs to suit you and your baby’s timetable. Sessions can be in the park with baby in the buggy or in your home whilst your baby sleeps - No more crèche fees!
One to one personal training with me will focus on:
- Strengthening and reconditioning your muscles especially your stomach and pelvic floor
- Burning excess body fat fast
- Re-energising you
- Getting you back into those pre-pregnancy jeans!
A healthy, balanced diet during pregnancy is vital to ensure that you gain the right amount of weight and your baby is getting all the nutrients they need to grow at a healthy rate. A balanced postnatal diet will help shed those extra pounds whilst providing you with the energy you need to look after your little one!
